Compact Surfaces – Neolith & Dekton
The term “compact surface” describes a completely new surface that is fabricated by putting the raw materials found in porcelain, glass, and quartz, under extreme pressure and heat to create an extremely durable material. Compact surfaces such as Dekton and Neolith are some of the most indestructible, advanced surface materials ever produced.

NEOLITH
Neolith is an innovative new product developed in Europe that is becoming very popular in the United States. It is resistant to extremely high and low temperatures, as well as scratching and abrasions due to the hardness of the surface. It is also resistant to UV rays and can be used in both and indoor and outdoor applications. Neolith compact surfaces are very easy to clean and are waterproof and liquid-resistant with an absorption level near zero. Unlike quartz, Neolith is 100% natural and resin-free. It is comprised of recycled raw materials and, being recyclable, is an environmentally-friendly choice. I
DEKTON
Dekton is extremely resistant to ultraviolet light and will not degrade over time, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. It is the most scratch resistant surface presently on the market and is entirely stain proof. Dekton has an extremely low porosity, does not contain any resin, and chemical resistant. Common household chemicals like bleach, cleansers or oven degreasers won’t harm a Dekton surface. Dekton withstands very high temperatures without scorching, burning or cracking. Hot pans and appliances like slow cookers can be placed directly on the surface with no concern of damage. Dekton is even more resistant to abrasion than granite, making it the ideal surface for commercial applications and high traffic areas such as flooring and countertops. While other natural stone surfaces can show wear over time and require periodic maintenance such as resealing, Dekton’s finish will last a lifetime and never needs to be resurfaced or refinished.
